Pleurothallis strupifolia
A medium to large sized, cool to hot growing, caespitose epiphyte that is found
from Mexico south to Peru as well as Venezuela, Guyana, Bolivia and Brazil in
wet montane forests at altitudes of 480 to 2900 meters where it blooms on
an apical, racemose, to 12" [30 cm] long, longer than the leaves,several to
many flowered inflorescence with the flowers held well above the
leaf andhaving simultaneously opening flowers occuring in the fall.
